Baseline Assessment of Sustainability Awareness in I-Form Phase 2

The survey results demonstrate that although sustainability is broadly recognised as a key priority within I-Form, awareness levels differ significantly by researcher type. Principal Investigators demonstrate a high level of alignment with sustainability awareness whereas PhD researchers indicate a comparatively lower level of awareness, highlighting a gap that requires targeted engagement. Although SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) emerges as the most emphasized goal, broader integration of additional SDGs is necessary to achieve comprehensive sustainability alignment across advanced manufacturing research.
