Abstract

IntroductionUnderstanding the structural origin of computational hardness remains central to complexity theory. Whiletraditional approaches emphasize branching and independent search paths, we propose that hardness emergesfrom the unavoidable expansion of a decisive constraint core.We formalize this core as the Magnetic Kernel (MK) and show that its growth directly governs computationalcomplexity.2 Magnetic Kernel FrameworkLet ๐น be a SAT instance.Definition 2.1. A Magnetic Kernel ๐‘€๐พ(๐น ) โІ ๐น is a minimal set of clauses satisfying:๐น is satisfiable โ‡โ‡’ ๐‘€๐พ(๐น ) is satisfiable.Define residual:๐‘…(๐น ) = ๐น \ ๐‘€๐พ(๐น ).3 Kernel Expansion TheoremTheorem 3.1. For a family of SAT instances ๐น๐‘› with ๐‘› variables:If|๐‘€๐พ(๐น๐‘›) | = ฮฉ(๐‘›),then any decision algorithm requires๐‘‡ (๐‘›) โ‰ฅ 2ฮฉ(๐‘›) .Authorโ€™s Contact Information: Dr.Durgham Ahmad Jaโ€™far Qaralleh - Jordan,Mutah
