16S rRNA sequencing data for Methanobrevibacter smithii activates immune microenvironment of intestinum tenue in a mouse model
Abstract
This dataset contains the raw 16S rRNA gene sequencing data supporting the findings of the manuscript titled “Methanobrevibacter smithii activates immune microenvironment of intestinum tenue in a mouse model” . Fecal samples were collected from C57BL/6J mice following stimulation with either *Methanobrevibacter smithii* or PBS control. Microbial DNA was extracted, and the hypervariable region V4 of the 16S rRNA gene was amplified and sequenced on the Novogene platform. The dataset includes paired-end raw FASTQ files for 10 samples, corresponding to 2 experimental groups (n=5 per group). These data were analyzed to assess the impact of *M. smithii* on gut microbiota composition and diversity, particularly in relation to immune cell profiles discussed in the manuscript.
