Ancent linkage groups (ALGs) results of 213 genomes
Abstract
An extensive analysis of ancestral linkage groups (ALGs) across the [bilaterian–cnidarian–(placozoan)]–sponge (BCnS) lineage (Benthozoa or Myriazoa), using 222 chromosome-level genomes from species at key evolutionary nodes spanning 30 phyla at the order level, reveals that stony coral genomes preserve the most conserved Precambrian chromosomal core.
