Abstract

Fig. S2. Response curves for the top environmental variables in the final species distribution model (SDM) for Jefferson Salamander habitat suitability. The curves illustrate the relationship between each environmental variable and predicted habitat suitability (cloglog output). To assist the reader, variables are spelled out as follows: Max Temperature of Warmest Month (BIO5), Precipitation of Warmest Quarter (BIO18), Temperature Seasonality (BIO4), and Precipitation Seasonality (BIO15). Suitability generally increased with higher precipitation during the warmest quarter (BIO18) and moderate temperature seasonality (BIO4), while suitability decreased significantly at higher maximum temperatures (BIO5).
