#Religiousdeconstruction Metadata from December 2021 to March 2024

I used Tik Tok’s research API to pull metadata from videos posted between December 2021 to March 2024 that meet the following parameters: content must be (1) posted in the United States, (2) public, (3) posted by creators over 18 years old, and (4) uses the hashtag #religiousdeconstruction in the caption. Tik Tok’s API does not allow for scraping of audiovisual content. The metadata I collected show the date each video was posted, co-occurring hashtags, captions, likes, and views. For this project, I limited the scope to videos 15 seconds or less since Tik Tok claims that shorter videos perform better.
