Abstract
Background: Polysulfone (PS) membranes are the predominant material in modern hemodialysis (HD), yet rare hypersensitivity reactions remain a clinical concern. This retrospective cohort study aimed to characterize the clinical presentation and immunotoxicological correlates of PS hypersensitivity and adapts novel laboratory tests for its detection.
