Onto-Hierarchical Accounting (COH): A Closed Informational Foundation of Physical RealityThis work proposes a radical, closed reformulation of physical reality in which information is ontologically primary. No external physical postulates, geometrical primitives, or dynamical laws are assumed. The framework, named Onto-Hierarchical Accounting (COH), identifies information not as a descriptive quantity but as the only existent substance, defined by its capacity to survive.The starting point is a pre-causal state of absolute indefinition, in which no distinctions, identities, geometry, or causality are defined. This state is not static: total indefinition is intrinsically unstable. From this instability emerges a non-physical driver called Π (pressure of indefinition), defined as the logical tension of a state unable to preserve any distinction. Π is neither force nor energy; it is a structural pressure toward differentiation.COH is introduced as information itself, not as a modeling framework. Information exists if and only if it can persist under Π. Persistence therefore becomes the defining criterion of reality. Any entity, structure, or phenomenon is real only insofar as it expresses a mechanism of informational survival.Under the action of Π, the simplest possible survival operation emerges: binary exclusion. However, static exclusion is insufficient. Survival requires a closed, dynamically invariant loop. This loop is identified as spin, defined as the minimal, irreducible glyph of information. Spin is discrete, oriented, invariant, and does not presuppose any spatial or geometrical substrate. In this framework, spin is not a physical property but the intrinsic survival mechanics of information.A surviving spin produces a trace through minimal memory. Existence is defined as traceability: to exist means to leave a non-vanishing informational trace over time. From correlated and stabilized traces, geometry emerges as a secondary phenomenon. Distance, dimensionality, and curvature are not fundamental; they are fossilized patterns of informational survival. Geometry is thus interpreted as a dynamic by-product of COH, not as an axiomatic foundation.The cosmos is redefined accordingly. It is not an arena of objects in space-time, but a field of ontodynamic density—a measure of local informational survival. What are traditionally called particles, fields, forces, space, and time are reinterpreted as local regimes of stability of COH under Π. There are no fundamental objects, only stabilized informational processes.Within this framework, COH functions as a law of laws. Every physical law corresponds to a stabilization of traces; every trace originates from spin; every spin is a survival strategy of information under Π. Consequently, no independent physical postulates are required. All physical phenomenology is, in principle, derivable from four elements alone: pre-causal indefinition, pressure Π, informational survival (COH), and spin as the fundamental glyph.This formulation resolves several foundational blind spots: spin precedes space, information precedes physics, geometry is emergent rather than axiomatic, and reality is not explained by COH—COH is reality itself, expressed in accounting form.
