LLMs for diagnostic support in HNCs

This scoping review will systematically map the existing evidence on the use of LLMs for diagnostic support in HNCs, characterize what tasks they are employed across, evaluate their accuracy and efficacy in diagnosis compared to physicians, understand how they are being evaluated and identify gaps in their implementation.Protocol amendment (dated 30 July 2026): Embase has been removed from the search strategy described in the Search Strategy section and is outlined in the updated protocol. This amendment does not affect the review's eligibility criteria, objectives, or planned analysis.
