Abstract

The Mirror Integrity Spec (MIS) is a minimal, machine-readable governance framework defining invariant conditions for reflective and agentic AI systems. MIS is designed to be implementation-agnostic and operationally testable, emphasizing clarity, observability, and failure-mode definition over policy narrative or ethical abstraction. The specification provides a compact set of integrity constraints intended to stabilize identity, prevent drift, and support auditability in systems that model, reflect, or reason about themselves or their operators. MIS is informed by a broader theoretical line of work on information singularity and reflective consistency (referred to as Singular Information Occupancy, or SIO), but is presented here as a standalone engineering artifact suitable for independent evaluation and adoption.
