Links to Success Stories

A quantitative content analysis examines 198 written “success stories” posted by CatholicMatch and Upward (Nov 2023–Oct 2025) to identify how these platforms frame “successful” Christian relationships. Each story is coded for four marriage frames (covenant, vocation, companionship, calling) and five theological/moral cues (e.g., “God’s plan,” purity, headship, contrast with secular dating, mission together), then compared across platforms using descriptive statistics and chi-square tests.
