Abstract

This study used the summated rating method to analyze survey data from 133 agricultural extension workers in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY). The method was applied to convert ordinal Likert-scale responses into interval data for descriptive statistical analysis. Each questionnaire item was given a numerical score according to the respondent’s answer. Scores for items within the same construct, such as behavioural intention, system usage, user satisfaction, and system impact, were summed to obtain a total construct score. These scores were then calculated as percentages to show achievement levels for each construct. The summated rating method allowed a clearer comparison of results across constructs and supported the evaluation of the BTS Propaktani system’s impact on the evolving digital roles of agricultural extension workers.
