Abstract

Principal Component Analysis was performed on all 24272 genes, the top 1000 most-variable genes, and the top 500 most-variable genes. Datapoints (samples) were primarily distinguished by colour with secondary differentiation by shape and replicates labeled by number. Variables (sex, drug, treatment) were interchanged as primary and secondary distinguishing variables to observe how samples clustered. Sex separates on PC1Drug seperates on PC3Treatment does not separate on any of the first 6 PCs
