Information-Activated Coupling to Auxiliary Quantum Sectors
Abstract
We introduce an operational extension of open quantum system dynamics in which the information acquisition rate controls coupling to otherwise inaccessible auxiliary degrees of freedom. The framework defines an information-flux operator based on quantum Fisher information and yields a non-Lindblad contribution to the reduced dynamics while reducing exactly to standard quantum mechanics in the weak-coupling limit. We derive a minimal microscopic interaction model, an inevitability theorem under explicit technical conditions, and experimentally testable predictions including a protocol-ordering phase effect and an activated dephasing floor. Statistical kill-tests and reproducible analysis procedures are provided for superconducting qubit and electron-interferometer platforms. The proposal therefore constitutes a falsifiable phenomenological extension of non-Markovian open-system dynamics rather than a modification of quantum mechanics.
