Contrasting cognitive control in the Simon and spatial Stroop tasks regarding their interference with the control of standing balance. Balance control is operationalised as the variability (SD) of force plate moment in the mediolateral (ML) and anteroposterior (AP) directions. Time series data within single participants were aligned either with the onset of the response target or the onset of the manual response.
