Abstract

In 2022, 69 newly hired faculty completed a virtual 2-hour Objective Structured Clinical Exam (OSCE), incorporating a telemedicine post-discharge follow-up case for a patient with possible undiagnosed mpox. Clinician performance was evaluated by Standardized Patients (SPs) using a checklist measuring communication, telemedicine skills, mpox-specific counseling, and patient satisfaction and activation.
