Abstract

Administrative staff are the backbone of these institutions, managing a wide range of tasks including records management, coordination between departments, policy implementation, and student services. Traditionally, these responsibilities have depended heavily on face-to-face interactions, physical paperwork, and manual tracking systems. However, these methods have their limitations, especially during crises or times of high demand—like the COVID-19 pandemic, which highlighted the weaknesses of organizations that cling to outdated communication systems.Even with the rise of digital tools, many administrative departments in universities still rely on traditional systems or use modern tools inconsistently. This disconnect between what technology can offer and how it’s actually used can lead to delays, miscommunication, duplicated efforts, and employee frustration. It also creates a hurdle for innovation, holding institutions back from fully embracing the benefits of digital transformation
