Abstract

This research develops a minimal and rigorous pre-geometric formalization of a foundational ontological regime termed Dynamension (Theory Zero). The work proposes that energy, understood as intrinsic internal dynamics, precedes the emergence of geometry and physical time. Instead of assuming a background manifold or time evolution equation, the theory is formulated on an abstract state space H equipped with a variational principle defined through a functional S[Psi].Physical realizability is expressed through a stationarity condition delta S[Psi] = 0, replacing the conventional notion of time-dependent equations of motion. Internal dynamics are described through gradient flow in state space, introducing directionality without presupposing physical time.Geometric structures are not fundamental but emerge through symmetry reduction and stability conditions that allow projection from pre-geometric states onto effective metric configurations. This framework establishes a mathematically explicit foundation for subsequent emergent theories, including dimensional fusion mechanisms and mixed-signature structures developed in later work (Theory One). The research situates itself within formal field-theoretic approaches to background independence and geometric emergence, providing an ontological and variational foundation for understanding spacetime as a derived rather than primitive structure.
