Abstract

If the Pasenor Stela is only partially genealogical, then we are free to explore all sorts of ideas as to who bore whom. The following is such an exploration. We use the modelled 70-year reign of a king and two concepts1. articulation at sed festivals (major not endless repeats) at Years 31 and 62 – full year allocation2. son at commencement of kingship and late son concieved at first sedThis allows us to posit a late son coming to power in his father’s Yr 62. We note specifically that Takelothis of Manetho’s 22nd dynasty is Talelot I (13 yrs). The ‘early son’ comes to power in father’s Yr 31 or thereabouts. The full discussion of articulation is found elsewhere in my papers.
