Data and code for: Climate change and fire alter biotic interactions and tree growth in high-elevation forests (Beisel et al. 2026)

This repository contains data and R code to reproduce all analyses and figures in Beisel et al. (2026). The dataset includes tree ring-width measurements, forest structure data, and monthly PRISM climate data (1949–2023) from 9 high-elevation forest sites across the Bitterroot Mountains, MT/ID, USA. Outputs include main text figures, supplementary figures, model coefficient tables, and pairwise comparison results.
