Abstract

Principal component analysis of normalized gene expression with outlier identification. Samples colored by drug×sex×treatment group. Potential outliers identified using 2×MAD (median absolute deviation) from group centroids are labeled. Shows separation primarily along PC1 (sex effect) and PC2 (drug effect). Demonstrates that outlier exclusion improves clustering, particularly among CNR female samples.
