When Chemical Systems Begin to Preserve Structure
Abstract
This preprint outlines a testable threshold at which chemical systems transition from transient reactions to sustained structure preservation under continuous energy flow.It proposes observational criteria and experimental measurements for identifying self maintaining information preserving behavior in prebiotic chemical systems without providing instructions for creating living organisms. The work is intended as a theoretical and experimental framework for origin of life research. The findings presented here were informed by results from UNISIM™, a proprietary digital simulation system, with underlying methods not described in this work.© 2025 Mitchell J.
