Abstract

This study used LASSO regression in Stata 17 to confirm the coefficients in the STIRPAT equation. The R code and results for the four SSP scenarios and dynamic Monte Carlo simulations are included in the supplementary materials (data_and_code.zip). The code and results for implementing LASSO regression in STATA is also included.
