Abstract

We obtained a high-purity (> 99%) ammonia-oxidizing archaea (AOA) enrichment culture from mangrove sediments. Here, we provide a near-complete genome of the AOA strain named Candidatus Nitrososphaera mangrovi 86-2 in this enrichment culture.
