Abstract
The data for this study were obtained from Sina Weibo (https://weibo.com). The observation period started from the release of the news "An imported case of mpox from abroad was reported in Chongqing, China" by "China News Service" at 20:16 on September 16, 2022, and ended 48 hours later. Using a Python toolkit (V3.10.7), we crawled Weibo posts containing the keyword "Chongqing mpox".
