Abstract

DescriptionThis dataset contains protein-level differential abundance results from quantitative mass spectrometry–based proteomics of embryonic mouse hearts comparing PKN2 cardiomyocyte-specific knockout (cKO) and control embryos. Proteins were quantified from pooled ventricular samples using TMT-based LC–MS/MS and analyzed for differential abundance between genotypes. The table includes protein identifiers, fold-change estimates, and statistical significance values derived from the differential analysis.Column descriptionsname – Gene symbol corresponding to the detected protein.ID – UniProt protein identifier.cKO_vs_Control_p.val – Raw p-value from the statistical test comparing protein abundance between PKN2 cardiomyocyte knockout (cKO) and control samples.cKO_vs_Control_p.adj – Adjusted p-value (false discovery rate, FDR) after multiple testing correction.significant – Logical indicator (TRUE/FALSE) specifying whether the protein passes the significance threshold after adjustment.cKO_vs_Control_significant – Logical indicator (TRUE/FALSE) specifying whether the protein is considered significantly different between cKO and control in this comparison.cKO_vs_Control_ratio – Estimated fold change ratio of protein abundance in cKO relative to control.Control_centered – Mean-centered normalized abundance value for the protein in the control samples.cKO_centered – Mean-centered normalized abundance value for the protein in the PKN2 cKO samples.
