EMF2b-1 regulates endosperm cell cycling through PRC2 recruitment in maize
Abstract
Although genome-wide analyses of H3K27me3 have been performed in maize, the mechanisms controlling its deposition and developmental functions remain poorly understood. Cereal endosperm development involves mitosis and endoreduplication. Understanding how the cell cycling is regulated offers potential to improve crop yield.
