Abstract

This repository provides the comprehensive source data and code supporting the manuscript "Programmable direct-patterning assembly enables high-density and surface-conformal integration of fiber Bragg grating sensor arrays." The study introduces a programmable manufacturing paradigm for the high-density integration of brittle FBG sensor arrays onto complex, non-planar surfaces. The methodology integrates a multi-scale mechanical modeling approach and a custom-built 5-axis direct-patterning assembly with advanced deep learning frameworks for speech and gesture recognition. For full reproducibility, we have included raw and processed strain signals, along with the 3D-CRNN, BiLSTM, and WGAN-GP architectures that utilize dual-attention mechanisms for spatiotemporal signal decoding. All data collection and experimental protocols comply with the relevant legal and ethical requirements for research in structural-sensing integration and intelligent systems.
