Abstract

This study investigates the role of bile acids as signaling molecules in the liver, with a particular focus on their function in biliary epithelial cells and their contribution to liver homeostasis and fibrosis development. Using genomic and molecular approaches, we explore how bile acid signaling pathways regulate gene expression and cellular identity. Our findings provide insights into the mechanisms by which bile acids influence liver physiology and disease progression, and may have implications for understanding chronic liver diseases.
