This study highlights the importance of tourism in driving regional development, cultural exchange, and socio-economic transformation, especially in border areas. It focuses on Sangkhlaburi, a culturally diverse district where Karen, Mon, Burmese, and Thai communities contribute to rich cultural tourism potential. Despite its heritage value, the region faces challenges such as weak infrastructure, governance gaps, and limited community involvement. In the post-COVID-19 context, the research emphasizes the need for sustainable, community-based tourism that preserves cultural identity while enhancing local resilience.
