G4 Eurasian avian-like H1N1 swine influenza viruses exhibit enhanced pathogenicity potential in mice and pigs
Abstract
This dataset supports the findings of a study assessing the mammalian adaptation and pandemic potential of G4 genotype Eurasian avian-like H1N1 swine influenza viruses. We collected 556 porcine samples from farms in Northern Jiangsu, China, and isolated two G4 EA H1N1 viruses, designated FYD30 and YZF69. Key methods applied in this study include whole-genome sequencing, phylogenetic analysis, receptor-binding assays, polymerase activity assays, and in vivo challenge studies in mice and pigs. The dataset comprises: complete genome sequences (FASTA); raw data for 17 supplementary tables (Excel format), covering replication kinetics, viral loads, and cytokine expression; and five supplementary figures (PDF). A detailed README file is included for reference.Files are provided in their original formats.
