MJES (Mixing Processes in the Southwestern Japan/East Sea) Shelf Experiment Data

This repository contains data collected in the Japan/East Sea during the period of Shelf Exp. 1 as part of the Office of Naval Research (ONR) Naval International Cooperative Opportunities in Science and Technology Program (NICOP). Data includes CTD data [CTD] folder Lowered ADCP data [LADCP] folder, 150 kHz ship ADCP data [SADCP_150] folder, and microstructure shear data [MSP] folder all taken at station S1 in the paper. Data from TRBM moorings at three locations M1, M2, and M3 are in the [TRBM Moorings] folder. Also included is the NICOP final report as was referred Chang et al. (2023) in the JGR paper (Hemantha et al., 2026), where more details on all data can be found. Supplementary materials mentioned in the JGR paper are placed in the [JGR Supplements] folder.
