MARCEA

Microfluidic Architecture based Resilient Contour Expansion Analysis (MARCEA) is a customized MATLAB routine for analyzing phase-contrast images of bacterial growth in a mother machine. It extracts morphological parameters of single cells and calibrates lineage cycles. It also features a hardware mode to control the imaging system based on LUNA (Locking Under Nanoscale Accuracy), an innovative autofocusing method that improves focusing precision and extends the focusing range.
