Source data and code for “Crop failures are associated with extreme climate events in China”

The package includes final plotting data for main-text Figures 2–7, source data for selected supplementary figures, source data for Supplementary Tables S1–S9, and core method scripts used for crop-failure detection, LOWESS-based yield detrending, spatiotemporal event clustering, stage-specific climate association, multiple-testing correction, temperature intensity–duration robustness checks, and spatial-resolution sensitivity analysis.Station identifiers have been replaced with non-reversible site_id values where station-level records are included. Station coordinates, grid-location indices, local computer paths, and raw station-level observational records are not included. Figure 1 is a conceptual schematic and therefore has no associated source-data workbook.Raw crop-yield, phenology, and daily meteorological observations are not redistributed because they originate from third-party observational station records and include location-sensitive station-level information. Access to those raw data should be requested from the original data providers under their applicable data-use terms.
