Abstract

Supplementary Code 1 accompanying the manuscript “Source-surface-resolved semi-analytical path-spectrum formulation for local optical fluence in bounded scattering media” (Manuscript ID: 606172). The package contains the complete MATLAB scripts used to generate Figs. 1–6. The scripts implement the effective-coordinate construction, source-surface quadrature, path-spectrum evaluation, internal first-moment response, reference-state closure, MCXLab configuration, closure-excluded spatial assessment, full-field comparison, optical-state transfer analysis, branch-resolved decomposition, numerical auditing, source-data export, and figure generation. Figures 1 and 2 can be run independently. Figure 3 performs the reference-state MCXLab calculations and generates the frozen parameter, field-location, numerical-audit, and cache outputs required by Figs. 4–6. A README file specifies the recommended software versions, external dependencies, MCXLab path configuration, execution order, and inter-script dependencies. MCXLab is an external dependency and is not redistributed with this package. Large Monte Carlo cache files are not included because they can be regenerated using the simulation settings specified in the supplied scripts.
