Lensless dual-scale coded ptychography microscopy using wavelength-multiplexed illumination
Abstract
We propose a new lensless coded ptychographic imaging method with wavelength multiplexed illumination to realize dual-scale image recovery. In our method, dual-scale wavelength-multiplexing illumination, including plane wave and spherical wave illumination, is designed in a coded ptychographic setup to form a lensless dual-mode microscope. The unit magnification of a plane wave introduces a large field-of-view observation, and the spherical magnification from a point source imposes a pixel super-resolved reconstruction. In image recovery, a dual-constrained ptychographic iterative engine algorithm (DcPIE) is constructed to process the dual-scale datasets to accomplish high-quality recovery of the sample wavefield and mask distribution. The experimental results of different samples are given to validate the imaging performance of our method. Our method contributes a practical solution to keep an effective balance of resolution and FOV for lensless microscopy.
