Abstract

The Education field suffered great impacts regarding teaching and learning development due to COVID-19 pandemic. It is evident that experimental courses are a fundamental part of learning science. The concern to discuss and compare between an hands-on, simulated and remote laboratories with some automation is not recent. However, the COVID-19 pandemic induced a need for sudden change in the traditional education system all over the world. Some approaches applied to remote teaching during the pandemic at Universities and secondary education, and their impacts on learning are already being investigated. Moreover, the evaluation of remote teaching during the pandemic needs to be analyzed very carefully since approaches to online teaching are usually different from the methods used on the emergency remote teaching.
