Abstract

the dataset contains the quantitative data regarding immune cell infiltration in a case series of canine soft tissue sarcoma. Immune cells were quantified by immunohistochemistry followed by image analysis on digitalised sections. Markers used to detect immune cells were: CD20 (B cells), CD3 (T cells), FOXP3, (Treg cells), Iba-1 (macrophages), CD204 (M2-like macrophages). For each case the age, breed and sex of the affected animal were also collected. Histological variables included in the datasets are the specific diagnosis (sarcoma type), mitotic count, histological grade.
