Abstract

The Northern Sea Route is a unique transport corridor that reduces the distance traveled by ships passing from East to West. The Northern Sea Route is extremely necessary for the development of Russia and its existence, it is part of the national code. The Northern Sea Route «stitches together» the country, makes it unified, ensures the export of export-oriented goods and the northern delivery of essential goods. The Northern Sea Route is not just a transport artery, but an integration project combining efforts in the field of economics, infrastructure and technology. The issue of its development as a logistics highway is in the foreground. By competing with the Suez Canal, the Northern Sea Route is turning into a territory where the interests of Russia and Western countries collide, so the Russian Federation is taking measures to preserve and enhance its sovereignty.
