GANGGUAN BERBAHASA PADA PENDERITA CADEL MELALUI PLATFORM YOUTUBE KAJIAN PSIKOLINGUISTIK

This research discusses language disorders in the form of lisp viewed from a psycholinguistic perspective by utilizing the YouTube platform as a data source. The focus of the study is directed at the forms of articulation disorders that appear in the speech of people with lisp, especially changes and replacement of certain phonemes in the speech production process. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques in the form of listening, note-taking and documentation methods for oral speech taken from several YouTube content. The research results showed that slurred language disorders were characterized by changes in the phoneme /r/ to /l/ and the phoneme /s/ to /t/, which occurred consistently in research subjects from various age ranges. These findings indicate that lisp disorders are closely related to limitations in articulatory abilities and cognitive processes in producing language sounds. Thus, this research confirms that the YouTube platform can be used as a relevant alternative media in authentic data-based psycholinguistic studies.
