Movimiento Ciudadano: de su política aliancista en coaliciones electorales, a su participación en solitario en las elecciones de 2024
Abstract
This essay analyzes why, for the first time in its history, Movimiento Ciudadano participated in the 2024 presidential elections without making a coalition with other parties and what this meant for its electoral performance. It is hypothesized that MC developed a political strategy to present itself as a third way and be part of a new politics, to capture the vote of those who did not identify with either of the two polarized coalitions that also participated in these elections.
