La resistencia social significativa y la construcción de la cultura. De cuerpos, significado y poder
Abstract
This article addresses the imperative to recognize the centrality of corporeality and signification in the social construction of culture. It further explores how these two categories enable an understanding of culture as an atmosphere shaped by the conditions of social change, particularly as these arise from forms of significant social resistance. The central thesis posits that although spiritual, material, aesthetic, affective, and artistic traits are commonly cited as defining features of culture, such descriptors remain aseptic and insufficient for explaining the “ways of life” and the “modes of social resistance” manifest in contemporary society.
