Abstract

Делается вывод о том, что ДПО трансформируется из вспомогательного элемента в стратегический компонент подготовки инженерных кадров для оборонно-промышленного комплекса, обеспечивающий гибкость, актуальность и индивидуальную направленность образования в ответ на вызовы сетецентрических войн и тотальной цифровизации. this article explores the transformation of the professional image of a military engineer in the context of the technological revolution and substantiates the key role of additional professional education (APE) in developing their competencies. Based on an analysis of the evolution from a narrow specialist to a systems integrator, the authors develop a three-tier competency model for the "military engineer of the future," combining fundamental engineering knowledge, relevant technological skills, and cross-professional qualities. The paper identifies systemic challenges facing traditional higher education that limit its ability to quickly adapt and substantiates the "niche" mission of APE as a flexible tool for rapid updates, advanced specialization, and interdisciplinary integration. The article presents didactic principles, a program classification, innovative formats for implementing APE, and a model for integrating it into a student's individual educational trajectory. A system of criteria for assessing the effectiveness of APE for the university, employer, and student is proposed. It is concluded that continuing professional education is being transformed from a supporting element into a strategic component of engineering training for the defense industry, ensuring flexibility, relevance, and individualized education in response to the challenges of network-centric warfare and total digitalization.
