Abstract

The integration of production approaches such as additive manufacturing and reverse engineering into the educational process of higher education institutions is becoming increasingly important in the context of rapid industrial technology development and the transition to the digital economy. This approach not only enhances the practical training of students but also equips them with «in-demand» technical skills for manufacturing and maintenance, including railway transport. In the article, the authors explore the relevance of integrating additive manufacturing methods into the curriculum of a technical sector universities and real-world case studies of student projects involving 3D printing prototypes.
