Nigeria Flood and Drought Monitor
Abstract
NOTE: this guide is based on an operational system that provides monitoring and early warning information close to real-time and is updated on a regular basis via automatic procedures. The functionality and underlying data/methods have undergone testing, but the operational nature of the system means that there is a small chance of errors and inconsistencies in the data.In case of an error, restart the interface by reloading the page in the web browser. Accessing the system⇒ Open your web browser (preferably Google Chrome or Firefox) with the system URL: https://hydrology.soton.ac.uk/apps/nga_app ⇒ The system is fully open access, so there is no need to register.⇒ When you first access the system, there may be a delay of a few seconds for the system to initialize, and for the interface to be rendered. If you are presented with the interface but no information (e.g.no maps) then continue to wait a few seconds more.
