Abstract

Enterprise infrastructures are growing in scale, complexity, and risk exposure especially in regulated industries. With hybrid, multi-cloud environments and increasingly distributed architectures, traditional compliance monitoring methods are no longer sufficient. Enter Artificial Intelligence (AI): a powerful enabler that can transform how organizations track, analyze, and enforce compliance. This paper explores the rise of AI-augmented compliance monitoring where machine learning, pattern recognition, and natural language processing work alongside humans to maintain real-time, predictive, and proactive compliance. We examine architectures, use cases, benefits, and risks. Through real-world examples and emerging tools, we reveal how AI can reduce audit burdens, detect anomalies, automate policy enforcement, and bridge the gap between compliance and agility in modern enterprise platforms.
