Abstract

In this paper, I propose an autoethnographic approach with the aim of sharing my own professional experience in using narrative practices in research and in initial and continuing training courses for professionals in the social and humanities field. What I propose and concretize here, in this (con)text, is not just an article, but a narrative work process useful to the qualitative researcher, practitioners in the field of social and human sciences, and any person who is open to working with the career-life path. From the variety of forms of realization, I opted for the autoethnographic research approach in which one's own life experience and professional practice/professional path become the object of reflection and research. The research universe is represented by units of analysis (stages; events; key moments; transitions; research themes; published texts) from one's own professional career and accumulated experience, viewed longitudinally and transversally.
