Estrategias Efectivas para Fortalecer el uso de un Idioma Extranjero Mediante el Aprendizaje Cooperativo entre Estudiantes Universitarios

In the current context of a globalized world, universities face the challenge of implementing pedagogical strategies that promote critical thinking, shared responsibility, and educational inclusion. In this regard, this article analyzes cooperative learning as an effective strategy to strengthen the use of a foreign language among university students. Based on a theoretical review and a didactic proposal applied to the field of tourism, it highlights how this methodology helps reduce educational gaps, foster inclusion, and respect cultural diversity within the classroom. Likewise, cooperative learning promotes essential social, cognitive, and socio-emotional skills for academic and professional performance, such as teamwork, effective communication, and motivation. The expected results show that this strategy improves academic performance, increases active student participation, and strengthens communicative competence in a foreign language, consolidating itself as a relevant pedagogical tool in higher education.
