Abstract

The document examines the formation as the main axis of pedagogical action through different dimensions. Scientific education is a social and reflective process which involves research, complex critical thinking and academic communication. Educative society highlights how collective identities and communitarian practices have been built through hierarchical relationships, ethics and participation. Historical formation is a way to improve interpretation, developing critical thinking and temporal awareness through active methodologies. Ecoformation establishes an education about caring of life, sustainability, and planetary awareness based on transdisciplinary methods. The collaborative formation empashizes the collaboration to change beliefs and teaching practices. To conclude, traditional pedagogy, centered on vertical transmission, is contrasted with active and critical pedagogy, which advocates autonomy, dialogue, social justice, and educational transformation.
