Abstract

Physical motor disability significantly affects functional autonomy, social participation, and access to inclusive educational processes. In this context, the intervention of the educational physiotherapist plays a fundamental role by articulating therapeutic, pedagogical, and psychosocial strategies aimed at the comprehensive development of individuals. This article aims to analyze the intervention of the educational physiotherapist in people with physical motor disabilities from the perspective of psychorehabilitation and special education, highlighting its contributions to inclusion and functional development. A qualitative, descriptive, and documentary approach was adopted, based on the review and critical analysis of relevant scientific literature. The findings indicate that the interdisciplinary intervention of the educational physiotherapist contributes to the improvement of motor skills, functional autonomy, school adaptation, and active participation in inclusive educational settings. It is concluded that the integration of educational physiotherapy, psychorehabilitation, and special education constitutes a key axis for promoting sustainable, person-centered inclusive educational processes.
